The adult relay race consists of 3 legs of approximately 2 miles over a single lap of an undulating, fast and mainly tarmac course in the parkland of Newcastle Great Park. Teams consist of 3 runners in the following categories:

Senior Ladies (must be 16 or over on day of the event)
Senior Mens (must be 16 or over on day of the event)
Veteran Ladies (age 35+)
Veteran Mens (age 40+)
